Rules

1. NextGen Music Competition was established as a forward-thinking platform designed to support and celebrate musicians, singers, and composers of all ages, styles, and nationalities.

2. The competition takes place entirely online, so no travel or in-person attendance is required for participation.

3. Each performance is assessed individually , who assign a score from 1 to 100 based on both musical interpretation and technical execution. The total score reflects the participant’s overall evaluation.

4. The spirit of NextGen Music Competition is non-competitive in nature. Rather than comparing participants against one another, we focus on appreciating each performer’s unique path and development. We recommend reading our competition philosophy to better understand this approach.

5. Musicians may enter as many categories as they wish, but each musical piece requires a separate application. A fee of €90 applies to each entry.

6. Video submission guidelines:

Participants must submit a YouTube link with their performance.

Instrumentalists (excluding pianists) may perform with or without accompaniment. If an accompanist is present, only the soloist will be evaluated. Jury members will score solely the contestant’s interpretation.

For instrumentalists, both hands and face must be clearly visible in the video. Singers should ensure their face is visible while performing. Camera angles may vary, provided the contestant remains clearly identifiable throughout. This requirement does not apply to composers.

1. By entering the competition, participants agree that their images may be used on the official website and affiliated social media channels.

2. All decisions regarding scores and awards are final and made at the sole discretion of the competition organizers. They cannot be appealed.

3. The list of prize winners will be published on July 1st, 2025, in the “Prize Winners” section of the website.

4. By submitting an entry to NextGen Music Competition, participants fully accept all rules and conditions set forth by the Organization.
